Summer 2025 Wrapped
Summer 2025 Wrapped: A Busy Summer of Coffee, Community and Connection
It’s been a packed summer here at Trading Post Coffee Roasters. From festivals and trade events to new partnerships and product launches, we’ve been out and about sharing coffee with communities near and far. And with plenty more planned as we move into the cooler months, it feels like we’re only just getting started. Here's a round up at everything we've been up to so far this year.
Festivals: Familiar Grounds and New Adventures
This summer took us back to two of our favourite events: the London Coffee Festival and Brighton Coffee Festival. They always feel like home, full of friendly faces, inspiring chats and plenty of cups poured.
We also had our debut at the Liverpool Coffee Festival, where we introduced Trading Post to a whole new audience. The city’s energy and love for coffee made it an incredible first outing and we can't wait to be back in Merseyside next year.
Trade Events: Learning, Sharing and Hosting
Our summer calendar was also dotted with industry highlights. Our Senior Roasters & Trainers joined the annual Full Circle event hosted by DRWakefield and the wider team headed to Geneva for World of Coffee 2025, both buzzing with ideas and conversations that push us to think differently about our craft.
On home ground, we had the joy of hosting our own gatherings. Our refurbished Sydney Street roastery was the perfect backdrop for a small but mighty cupping with Equatorial Imports. Not long after, we launched our first “After Roast” at HQ, an evening of live roasting, latte art throwdowns, music and plenty of good vibes with our wholesale partners and wider coffee community.
Partnerships: Brewing Beyond the Cup
Another highlight was becoming the official coffee partner for Sussex Cricket at the Hove 1st County Ground. We created two bespoke blends now served across the site - you can read more about that here.
We also returned to pop-ups and events with our long-standing partners. At Wrap Space in Brighton, our team hosted a “taste and vote” session to help co-workers choose their next Trading Post blend. It’s always special to connect directly with the people who brew and enjoy our coffee every day.
New Releases: Fresh Flavours for the Season
Alongside all the events, we kept our roasters busy with fresh single origins. This summer saw the release of Ituze, Rwanda, Caturra Nogales, and Andres Trujillo, Colombia, all bringing bold, bright flavours to the line-up. We also introduced two exclusives: Arbegona, Ethiopia, and La Esperanza XO: our first roasted-for-filter coffee.
And to top things off, we launched the Trading Post Fellow Carter Move Mug in our signature Trading Post blue. Built with sustainability in mind, it keeps your coffee hot for 12 hours, cold for 24, and comes with a clever, zero-mess design.
It’s been an incredible summer of sharing, learning and growing. But we’re not done yet. As we head into the cooler months, we’ve got plenty more brewing, so stay tuned for more coffee, more community, and a few surprises still to come.
