Grown at 2,200 masl in the highlands of Arbegona, Ethiopia, this coffee thrives in cooler evening temperatures, allowing cherries to ripen slowly. This extended maturing period enhances sweetness, complexity and acidity, creating a cup with bright, refined flavours.
Coffee cherries are hand-selected through flotation and dried on raised beds. Rotated every 30 minutes, they dry evenly over 12-15 days, developing depth and clarity before being stored to enhance the resulting flavour.
Sidama, home to over 7.8 million people, has a rich agricultural heritage where coffee is a way of life. The high altitude and semi-temperate climate make it ideal for cultivating some of Ethiopia’s most celebrated coffees, renowned for their floral, citrusy notes and crisp acidity.
This coffee embodies the purity of high-altitude cultivation, delivering a vibrant, complex, and well balanced brew, true to the essence of Arbegona’s unique terrain.
